    OBD/OBD2

I have w202 C200, i purchased a Bluetooth OBD reader and a 36 pin converter (as my c200 does not have obd2 connector)

The reader connects to the tablet but the reader (from diagnostic) does not talk with the ECU.

Did anybody come across this problem?

New scan tools won't always talk to old cars like ours.

Only us w202's are certified to have OBD2. Non-us models might not have had OBD at all, depending on the market they were sold in. If it doesn't have the OBD2 connector I would bet it doesn't have OBD2. Likely requires an MB Startec reader (if I remember correctly)
