i have a stock '00 c230 kompressor elegence model. i just wondering if anyone knew if there was a "sports package" for this model from the dealer. if so, what do is included (i.e. carbon fiber trim, sports wheel, new shifter, gauges, exterior stripe painted body color). thanks for the help.

Yep, that package was a great deal. Definitely set this Sport models apart from all the other w202s. I had a '00 C230K Sport; it was niiiice..

Don't forget the "SPORT" badge on the sides of the car. And that faux carbon fiber trim really made the interior look a lot more sporty and not so old like the wood trim.

can't get the sport package anymore, at least i don't think you can. The gauges, you definately can't get, they're hard to find (maybe steve can help?), the sport badges...i dunno, maybe you could find those somewhere...the sport seats you definately can't get, hmm, the carbonfibre trim inside, (check out the guy who's selling the REAL carbon fibre trim for the w202), the sport steering wheel which i think is a HUGE improvement over theregular one, I don't think you can get easily. The shift knob that says sport on it (you can easily get that from dealership)...letsee what else, that's about it i think. the b-pillar trim you can get as well, (those are pretty easy to come by).

yeah, that oem stuff is hard to come by, it would've been better if you just bought a sportified C class in the first place.

steponit, you can get anything u want as long as you are willing to pay and throw your heart into it. For the sports seats, aim for the 2000 Special edition 2-tone leather grey/black.

This probably isn't showing you the seats too well. I am at work now, can't remember where my uploaded pictures are. I can upload better pics later once I get home.

Your car is beautiful! It looks just like my previous 202, I had an '00 C230K Sport and I had added 17" AMG Monoblocks just like yours. But I loved the Special Edition Sport models with the 2-tone interior...those cars were as close as I could get to a C43 without the engine and AMG enhancements!

Thanks.. yes, the SE is very nice but my dream/target w202 is still the 2000 C43. it is just too hard to come by.

I remember someone posting on the old BenzSport, a while ago, a 2000 C43 for sale on Ebay; but here's the kicker: the car wasn't white, silver, or black. It was BURGUNDY, painted like that from the factory. But yeah, a 2000 C43 with the slap-shift would be nice...

I acually like it more with no chrome accent and all monochromatic just one color car, in the end its alot cleaner but with a lighter colored car it looks good also with the chrome accent if you have like a chrome grill and chrome tipz

Damn sanf your car is helllla nice. Aren't those 18's instead of 17's?

Good luck with getting those parts at the parts dept, it's gonna cost you much more then 900 dollars, even for the sport two-toned seats alone, you'd probably have to pay more then that lol. the steering wheel itself is probably 400-500$. And the sport rims...eh, who cares about the sport rims, they're ugly
