Hidden bulb holder in the trunk

    Hi all,

I had to replace a few taillight bulbs this weekend and discovered something. Typically, I just unlatch the tail housing and pull it out (without really looking at it), then find the burnt bulb. For whatever reason, I took a glance back there and discovered this little guy waiting in the shadows. There was one on the other side as well.

I've had two W202's since 1994 and this time was the first I ever saw it. Did you guys know? The picture of the holder is right next to the taillight bulb housing.

I have a 1995 C280, i'll have a look, but anyway that's kinda cool and handy to store a lamp. Mine are all in the storage between front seats, taking up space.

I checked the rear taillights last night after reading the post. Sure enough, each taillight has an extra / spare bulb.

    Thanks, Dan
