    Question headlight switch question

    my car is the 98 c240 w202.
recently, i found my headlight switch is having huge resistance when i try to turn it right to switch on either light.
I guess, the switch module may need to be replaced.
however, i wonder how can i replace it?

I found from youtube for reference, but only R129 is available. the video shows the switch knob can be pulled out directly, i've tried mine but it cant.

    anyone can help?

Plastic knob pulls straight off. Behind that you will find a little thin nut on the headlight switch shaft. Take some fine needle nose pliers and unscrew that nut,. the switch comes out from underneath the dash and just unplug the electrical harness. Replacement is just reversing steps.

LOL. I like the way you phrased that. Welcome to car repair- everything seems to have violence involved.
