    Pump/solenoid thing in engine compartment

Can't figure out what this guy is. It's got a hose in/out and it says "MO -->" with an arrow pointing toward the back; located in front of the washer tank on drivers side. Thanks!

Never mind, figured it out. Fuel vapor regeneration valve p/n 0004701693. Mine is clicking/tapping, is it worth $75-100 to replace with a new one?

As far as I know they all make a clicking sound, mine does too. I removed it and cleaned it out with some brake cleaner and refitted. I suspect my carbon cannister (under the rear wheel arch) is past it's best and maybe making the valve work harder?
