What to know about spirng pads?

I have decided that I'm going to lower my car and am going to use adjustable koni shocks with eibach pro kit springs. The only thing I am very unfamiliar with is spring pads. I'm pretty sure there are a few different sizes for them? I just want my wheel gap to be flush and I am getting adjustable shocks so I should be able to feel it out. But, should I be getting new/different sized spring pads even though I can still adjust? Whatever your guys opinion I would love to hear it because I'm just not real familiar with this area. Thanks.

The spring pads are a way to fine tune the suspension height. You won't get any height adjustment from the shocks. First, try to figure out which ones you currently have. Around the outside edge, they have little nubs that correspond with the thickness. One is the slimmest, two is thicker, and so on. Since new springs might settle a bit, you might have to try different ones to get the eventual height you want.
