damn those side skirts are expensive
Elvir
I called up a place in Burbank, listed as official partner on Rieger's site, a few months ago. They quoted me this for the kit off the top of my head:
Front: $210
Rear: $200
Sides: $400
They also said that they had many in stock.
Anyway, is that what you Rieger kit owners have paid?

If you can thread the needle... and if your drive can lead to Pole Position today, history may hold a place for you tomorrow.

ask oce420 as he has the kit on his model updated car.

those price seem pretty good. on Germen Ebay i see the lip go for 150 so 200 is pretty reasonable hella alot cheaper then the rpiequipped. They wanted 245 plus 75 shipping for that one rear piece.
Regaring Luwin's car i think the reson it didn't fit is b/c rieger makes two different kits one for updated model and older one. I think luwin got the older one for his updated car. I thnk slammedC on Bnzsport has the update pieces on his car over at bnzsport.
Got BRABUS?
he he, i think that car is history, he said he sold it to the insurance, and that can only mean one think.Originally posted by nokia8860

I think they had sent me the older-model kit instead of the newer one.
To make a long story short, because the older model has wider/more squarish bumpers, they were too big.
Body shop cut the kit in two places and then molded it back together.
I was part of a group buy back in the day w/ Bahn Brenner when a buddy's buddy worked there, so the front cost me $125 and the rear was around the same, and the splitter was around $120 as well. I didn't like the sides, so they were no go for me.
Well that was a good deal Luwin!
So you say there is a newer model that is compatible w/ the 98+ ? Are you positive on that?

ok just called.
The guy says that the front is the same on all years, but the rear, in 98, is made outta fiberglass and not ABS anymore, but he doesn't know if the fitment is different. He also says that people from shops come and get it from him and put the 97 and down ABS rear addon, on the '98+ models.
I'll go pick it up on Friday most likely, so at the same time I can test fit the mofos.
