    Arrow Paintable plastic bumper insert for C36 rear bumper..HELP..!

    Guys


    any of you know the part number for the paintable plastic insert for C36 bumper insert, which replace the chrome insert..??

    If youre talking about that top trim it is only availiable in chrome. Official wording.. chromium cover bumper panelling for Elegance/AMG

    Sport models have a 1 piece design which is molded on the bumper itself and is not available without ordering the entire bumper.

    Part numbers for chrome if you need.

    202 885 03 74 Left

    202 885 04 74 Right

    202 885 00 74 Center

    Just purchase these and send them out to paint.

    That is exactly what I alwasy thought....untill I saw willpower's car in Vancouver last May; it has PLASTIC trims instead of chrome ones...and these are not the ones that are used on the 97+ bumpers (don't fit)...

    Is it a Canada only part? Or can you pull the number off a euro epc?

    I checked the model updated 202 parts and they do make paintable top trim portions!!! I can only view the front trim as the rear is not listed.

    It is not euro specific otherwise I would have had it long ago...it isn't modelupdated either because those don't fit (believe me, I tried!!!).

    I am not sure what it is that Will has on his car but it is definitely something I would like to have myself as well.

    The euro oldstyle bumpers were all 2-piece bumpers except for the elegance bumpers with the chrome trims...I suppose that the oldstyle US spec sport bumpers don't come with separate trims on the top either...

    Maybe MB used painteable plastic trims on the C36 bumpers when the 202 was ordered from factory in "sport" trim with C36 styling kit...

    Yep its 1 piece. Insteresting though. Wonder if will can pull it off to read the numbers under it.
