my honest opinion
they used to have a great amps and subs.
But the quality has gone dawn the last couple year. (The first time Da Vinci came out, and I installed it one on one of my friend M3, and not really impressed. I meant the quality is not bad. But for $2600 amp I expected more out of it )
Since the company was acquired by other company (I forgot the name) I haven't fonud anything interesting out of their models line.
Soundstream used to be my favorite brand 8-10 years ago.
Then again sound preference is very subjective.
Each one will have different opinion of best sub. To date I haven't found one sub that can do all for me. One sub is very precise but cannot go loud, the other can go loud and comprise the sound quality a bit.
Also what kind of music do you listen (this should considered when looking for sub, tight accurate sub vs boomy sub, etc..)
If I were you I'd listen to their sub before passing any judgement.
