Errrrr what are you talking about?
CD-35Z, CD-40Z, CD-45Z, they all comes out at the same time. CD-40Z is the lower line compared to CD-45Z

    CD-400 is the newer line.

you know where we ended up when we started the name calling, so think about that....BTW, the reason i was asking is because these two are different from what Pnsji posted in his wiring instructions

But really its not hard to find the VW harness if u acually ASK the guy at a store he will give you it! I mean just think how many people just go to the store and get a deck installed, its not rocket science, i dont see why u are haveing so much trouble

not necessarily, sony md changers work with becker HU, my old sony changer was controlled by a Dennon HU (8 pin), and the 10cd cartridge from it is interchangeable with blaupunkt and becker models etc... basically there is a lot of interchangeability between different manufacturers... if the HU and changer use the same cable standard then they will interphase with each other.... try to compare the plugs...

Jason, I just realized, the converters 4 plugs dont have those long pings they have holes, so does the cd player see the picture

what you want to say is "female" RCA connector...

and if you CD changer also has "female" RCA end as well, then what you need is a pair of "male to male" RCA connector..(this is a small connector which has male connector on both end)

Then you should be all set.
