No such thing. There is a C280 Sport. I think that you meant C43, not 42. So where was the C55?

A Kompressor from one of the smaller displacement models (230K), will not work with your car.

    C55

In 1999 AMG transplanted E55’s engine into the baby Mercedes and created a crazy C55 AMG. It was not officially shown in Mercedes’ price list so that production number was quite restricted. The 5.5-litre V8 pumped out 347 horsepower and an astonishing 376 lbft of torque, making smooth launch difficult thus it was not much quicker to accelerate from rest than C43. The heavyweight V8 worsened handling a bit because the chassis and suspension setting was basically unchanged. Some 4,200 C43 and C55 were built.

this car belongs to tony not EvoracerII

Nope. Once again, this is Toni's Car...and as far as I've seen off of the internet, there are two AMG prepped w202 C55 who've had their pictures posted, and Toni's car by far gets his pics posted everywhere.

It may be possible that Evo owns it. I believe Toni had the car up for sale awhile back.

good point...I haven't heard him speak up as the new owner though, as all I hear about is his 16v.... But entirely possible.

Danjiel's car is beautiful. I absolutely loved it. I would post pictures, but I would have to ask his permission first and he's hard to get a hold of.

AMG C55 from the AMG factory was nearly 125,000 EUROs thats like 150,000 Dollars US. It is an incredible car. Acutally, the engine is tuned down from the E55 by about 10 horsepower danjiel was telling me, but I don't remember the exact figures.

It runs great, burned through 100 Euros of 100 octane in nearly 2 hours. We got to 268 kph.

Regarding the original post about the C280 Kompressor, maybe someone modified a Kompressor onto the C280 engine. I believe that Lorinser made an M104 Kompressor kit back in the day.

Hope this maybe gives you an idea of why someone would put on a Kompressor badge, or maybe they are frontin like those people with an ML320 AMG without even AMG wheels.

    anyway...

No one has a C280 kompressor, i know that everyone is missing the point, i want to put it on my car, i know its not going to just bolt on and its going to need a lot of custom fabrication, should i fab up my own kit or just buy a supercharger kit from musscleman

You know how there are only 2 C55 that we know of well i want the only C280 Sport Kompressor you know try to make the car more rare and fast, if a 1.8 l engine can make 194Hp with a kompressor and mine makes 194 with out than if i add a kompressor it should make about 245Hp

If you have C280 with V-6 engine (1998 and up) then you should contact Kleemann.

I think they have a kit fot V-6 engine.

regarding the c55, i know that i will not be buying a real c55 but i hope to modify my mb once i get it and put a 5.5 L V8 in it. so basically a home grown c55. but the important part is not the c55 it's self the important part is that i am going to try and put a six speed manual tranny in it and make it a c55T... that is right a c55T with 6 speed manual tranny . i know it will be acouple years until this is all done but i assure you once it is done i will post it on this website if it is still up and going

    Toni has a C55T

You should be able to take the C32 supercharger and fit it to a V6 C280 engine. You would need to have a piggyback ECU tuner to adjust the fuel and ignition timing, but then everything should fall pretty much into place.

    C 55 Kleinserie (W / S 202)
