I would, first of all ,get a price for an OEM one from the dealer.
Even if it is just for a reference point.
Other than that, many people say good things about Interstate batteries, or possibly Sears DieHard, etc.
I just got the car in Sept. '03 and now after storing it for winter
I need a new battery. The stock battery is dead and will not hold a charge. Anyone have a brand that they would recommend?
Battery is in the trunk so I'm told it must have a vent tube.

Yes, I have a few mods, but they\'re so discrete, my wife hasn\'t noticed them.

why not OPTIMA.. for performance battery!
Can't go wrong with Interstate Batteries! Optima makes some nice batteries too.

i have a diehard in my car and as soon as it goes i'm changing it to an interstate or optima, optima being my first choice. the diehard sometimes doesn't have enough balls to start my car. and if you any kind of stereo equip. in your car the battery sucks. happy hunting
Thanks everyone. Good advice , I'm off lookin'. This car is
going to be with me for a while so I'm going to look for the
better battery rather than the cheapest.
