It CAN be repaired.
Have them dismount the tire & apply a patch on the inside.
In theory, the tire will no longer have a " z " speedrating.
Since you probably don't drive in excess of 149 mph, for extended periods of time, what do you care ?
I was just at the shop for an alignment and balance. They discovered a screw in one of my brand new tires. I was told by them that high speed rated zr tires cannot be repaired or plugged? Is this correct? I had a similar incident with my old set of tires and the dealer just plugged it up for me. So now I have a screw in my new tire and don't know what to do. IS there any kind of warranty on Falken 451 tires for screws in them??? Help...please. I don't want to go and buy another new tire.

Yes, I have a few mods, but they\'re so discrete, my wife hasn\'t noticed them.
