Yes, it have been a long time since I posted anything here...

I haven't driven my C280 for a few months and it was just sitting
in my garage. Obviously the battery went dead... down to
5 volts...

As I didn't have a jumper cable available, I could not use my
Lexus to jump the Benz... so I called MB roadside assistance
and a tech came out to my house.

He replaced the dead battery with a new MB battery. The
car started up right away. Interestingly, the new MB battery
was made in Spain in January 2004. (part# 000 000 002 697)
Doesn't it cost a lot to ship those batteries to the US?

Anyway, here's my question: the tech forgot to plug the
battery vent tube to the new battery's vent hole, near the
positive terminal. I plugged it in myself, but noticed that there
was another vent hole, near the negative terminal.

Do the original MB batteries have two vent holes?
