Gauge and needles
Does anybody know where i can get the ivory face gauges OR the needles? I was looking around and found this guys car gauges. http://www.cardomain.com/member_page...846_4_full.jpg
Is it possible to buy those gauges and needles and replace them straight on mine? Or will i have to buy a whole new cluster?

Yeah you should buy the face from performance products because the stealership will charge like crazy man.

the one's at performanceproducts.com are white...imo they look kind of tacky....i can deal without having the ivory faced gauge...but i REALLY want the "whitish" needles that they come with...is it even possible just to buy the needles?

i was just wondering if would be posible to scan my oem gauges (black) and change the color to a white one.
then i would need to find the right font to imitate the sport or AMG gauges, or find a pic and copy paste; print it in hi quality photo paper, and attach it to my oem gauges.
has anyone tried it?
is that posible?

if i ever finish it i´ll mail it to you, no problem. but i need the corrent font of the numbers (20-40-60) to imitate the amg and sport gauges.
i haven´t found a pic on the internet with the quality enough to copy paste the numbers, so i need to type it. and i haven´t found the right font yet.
if anybody has the name of the font, or the amg/sport gauges and is able to take a hi res picture to them, it woould be fantastic!

oh the font is different? i was just thinking scan the regular reverse the colors print it on some gloss or thin plastic.
the font is differente in the white one. i was just trying to post pics in this message but couldn´t do it.

well Im að graphic designer and know alot about font stuff so. Im going to have a look at the font on my merc tomorrow..I also have a highquality digital camer and Im going to take a pickture and post in here ..ok ..just come back here in a few days.

can someone explain? like was there two kinds. cause i saw 1 picture it displayed and the nanother one. the other pic had the same layout so im guessing it will fit. and about the needles where do you think you can buy the white needles from cause i saw ppl asking /\ but no one was answering the question.

That is also what I am trying to figure out. I haven't tried yet, but I was thinking that the dealership would sell just the needles. Will find out soon.....
My question is, would the sport white needles work with the original black gauges?
