Flip Key?

When did mercedes start making flip keys, and where could i go about finding one that does not necessarily have to have alarm functions

ebay would be the cheapest. check out scotty190E website he has instructions one attaching non flip out keys to these flip things.

I think he posted the instructions on bnzsport also.

is this a cheap price, this one includes an allarm which i really did not look for, but i dont want to pay 70 bucks for just a key

I want to do this too.

There are two different switchblade key remotes if I remember correctly. Watch E-Bay, the older type comes up every now and then, I've seen them at around $25.

I have searched and can not find the instructions to put my key blank in one of those, if you find out how to do it please post.

From what i remember reading from scotty's site he used the ML one.

I found his site scotty-c.com but i think its down now
