    "Recycled air positioner"

part number A111 098 00 09 is a recycled air positioner (that' the translation I came up with)

It's plugged from a tube into the airbox.

What is the use of this? Can it be removed?

It relieves the kompressor psi back into your air box.

I cannot speak for where you are... but it is illegal in CO to dump air from intake or exhaust to the atmosphere. Blowoff/wastegate must be routed back into intake or exhaust. I'd keep it where it is.

I'm thinking of a Vortech race bypass valve

I don'T know if it would be better than stock or not.

It job is to closed the fresh incoming air and recycled the exhaust gas (hotter) to speed up engine warm up for less polluted air (is part of the smog system).
