    any1 run 19x9.5 et 35 on rear

    any1 run 19x9.5 et 35 on rear of a c class with 245/35/19

    no rubbing.?

    I run 19x9.5 et 40 with 245-35-19 goodyear eagle F1 tires.
    the inside of the rim is very close to the chassis.
    It would have been better if I had have got et 35 but they didnt make milanos 9.5 with et35!!
    so yes the et35 in 19x9.5 should fit just fine

    also if your after a peek at what that size looks like check
    "edub's" ride in members gallery,he also runs 19x9.5 et 35 or 40
    with 245-35-19 it the rear,and the car is also lowered with
    no rubbing(as far as im told)

    i think you should specify AMG or not. I have a c280 and I'm sure the roll on the AMG is significant. I've seen the question asked dozens of times but I've never really seen a striaght answer. The real question is: Will 19X9.5's fit on a non-AMG with no rubbing at stock hight??? If so, then it can be lowered after the fact for optimum hight without rubbing...

    this has been asked many time,

    as I have mentioned couple of times now about
    the differences AMG W202 vs non-AMG W202 in regards to fender lips.

    I'll say it again.

    AMG W202's both front and rear fender lips has been rolled from the factory.


    non-AMG W202's only the rear fender lips has been rolled.


    Thus for non-AMG W202 owners, if you want to put oversized wheel and tires sets, and your car is lowered chances are that you will need to rolled your front fender.


    18x9.5 ET 35 and 19x9.5 ET should have the same clearance.

    The KEY to WHEEL FITMENT is not so much of the 18" vs 19" diameter BUT : wheel OFFSET and wheel WIDTH.


    9.5 width ET35 should have no rubbing issues on W202. (granted, if your car is way too low that could be an exception !!!)


    Also with 9.5 you need to wisely choose tire brand, as different tire brand has bigger rim-protection lip that might affect tire sidewall-shoulder shape.

    The tire sidewall-shoulder area will affect the clearance between fender lip and the tire itself.

    I am in no way being sarcastic. I just want to clarify this from someone with your experience. I appreciate your attention to detail but. I just need a yes or no. Will a c280 handle 9.5's all the way around at stock height? Will 8.5's in the front and 9.5's in the rear be a better choice? Would I be able to lower the car maybe 1.5 inchs with 8.5's all the way around and not have to worry about rubbing? Would I be able to run 8.5's front and 9.5's in the rear and lower 1.5's with no rubbing? Now I'm not really asking for robot answers like yes or no but if you could let me know and then elaborate that would be awesome....

    I did mean it that way at all


    Also if you look up old threads, the widest possible for W202 in the front is 8.5".

    wider than that you will need wide fender-flare.


    If you want to go for staggered and want widest possible on the front

    I'd go with 18x8.5/18x9.5

    J that's awesome. Just what I wanted to know. Thanks. How'd you make out with that powerchip a ways back? I like that chrome trim around the mouldings. I guess that's the elegance pgk. I have the sport so's I don't have the nice chrome..

    BTW: How much are you dropped with those Koni adj.???

    Iv got a 230k....
    the finish is crap compared to other wheels iv had like ADVAN etc
    the painting is not tidy,and when the sent my fronts they had changed the 114 stud to 112 and it was messy,maybe i got a bad batch ,they still look very nice if you not looking for perfect wheels

    what size are your milano's? dropped? and rubbing? That sucks, you figure a name like axis would have a high quality product. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for them????

    they are only made in a few sizes.

    mine are 19's...
    rear - 19x9.5 et40 with 245/35 goodyear eagles(et 35 would have been better,but they dont make them)
    front - 19x8.5 et 35 with 235/35 goodyear eagles

    I currently have #1 pads all round on factory sport suspension
    and had to roll the front gaurds to avoid rubbing with big dips in the road but they still rub where the gaurd meets the bumper,
    but most of this can be avoided by running 225 on the front.

    also if you find a good gaurd roller they can make your front gaurds 10mm bigger without damaging paint.i had an awsome job done on mine it almost looks flared!!.

    oh...and your Question....they cost 1500 USD.I bought them from US ,and where i live that is equal to 2400 NZD,and a good set of 19 will usually cost 5500 NZD!!,so they are very cheap,an quality shows this.

    yes I still have alittle rubbing only on the front right,where the gaurd meets the bumper,this is because this area can not be
    rolled due to the shape of metal.and if you do roll this piece it
    makes the gap between the bumper and gaurd distort...
    I will fix this with a soft hammer easily.

    My left gaurd doesn't rub though...the rolling looks identical...it must be slightly different though!!

    also my front wheels hit the front inside plastic lining(where the vent is infront of the wheel) when i turn and reverse,this must be due to movement in suspension geometery.
    But i can have full lock with no rubbing when driving forwards.

    As for the et40 on rear....the inside of the mags miss a piece of bodystructure by 5mm when the car is jacked of the ground.
    but when the car is sitting normally,there is a 10-15mm gap.you can easily run out of room with incorrect tire sizes.

    so if you were to get this size rim,I would not go any bigger than
    245,otherwise it will rub on the inside.
    although in saying this,a rubber hammer can fix this problem easily to without damage.

    Im still on factory springs with #1 pads,there is a 10mm gap between the gaurd and the top of tire

    when i lower it, there should be plenty of room in the rear.
    its the front you will have to worry about...just dont put on 235,
    use 225.


    i was told goodyear made 225/19/35 eagles,but after i had already bought 245 for rear,they told me there may be a very long wait to get the 225's.so i had to get 235!!!!which has made life alot harder than planned!!all because i wanted the cool tread pattern
