    225 Or 235???????

Now that i know i need to get 255/35/18 for the back what should i get for the front??

    I did some research

    Tire rack says 225/40/18
    And so do some people

Others say 225 is too skinny and streches the tire too much they say to get 235/40/18

What should u get in your opinions??

    THanks

The 225 is fine, on an 8 inch rim. It will be stretched if you try and put it on and 8.5" rim.

You should be fine on 225/40/18 tire. As you mentioned before that you don't want to go thru the bull shit of fender rolling and rubbing. So what tires are you planning to get?

Dunlop or SO3 and tire rack is one good source. You can also check discount tire. Their shipping is free.

    No Dude

you want Pirelli P-Zero Nero or S03..

Let me help clarify certain things since I am sure not that many people know that P-Zero has 3 different bred.

There are 3 different kind of Pirelli P-Zero:

P Zero Yellow (excellent dry traction(but need to be warmed up first) but poor wet traction)

P Zero Rosso (red) (excellent dry traction and improved wet traction)

P Zero Nero (black) (excellent dry traction and excellent wet traction)

The reason I have choosed P-zero Nero over S03 for 2 reason.

1.More comfortable ride (since S03 has stiffers side wall, the ride feel abit bouchier) and quiter
2.Since the side wall has Extra rim protection ring that sort of "thick" I don't want my front to rub (so I pick P-Zero for more clearance)

Based on tirerack recent test P-Zero has faster lap time against S03 and Michelin Pilot sport.

However S03 in my opinion is slightly better than P-Zero Nero on wet ...

    Hope this helps.

Race compound Tires like Hoosiers...the kind of tires that have little tread (hence gumballs), have short lives, and need to be heated up to get to operating temp.

Get the 235's as the PZero Nero run a little narrow.

And, yes for real grip get a set of Kuhmo V700 R-compound tires. They grip like nothing else, scary fast.

But they don't wear real good, maybe 4,000 miles a set. Man I wish I had the money to run them all the time, tehy are that good.

If like to drive real hard. You owe it to yourself to buy one set and drive the hell out of them and your car.
