    climate control

im planning on changing my "analog" type air-con (the one with the knobs) to a digital climate control system. do u guys know what is necessary apart from the digital unit? i do have the sensor so it is no concern.
if it is only the digital unit i have to place, what is the part number, how much would it cost and if it is worth the change?
    thanks

in the us it cost new around 400 bucks. but it is possible. Just look in the gallery for MBenzNL he switched his out and probably has a better deal for the unit too.

cuz in america they overcharge us for everything.

best of luck and if you do go for it be sure to take lots of pics and post your installation here.

this change from a standard knob controlled system to the automati one is not recommended...unless you can do a lot yourself and are not afraid to tear your car apart.

yeah im prepared to tear my car up.
but isnt it just the digital module i have to put??
in your website, you had to change the sensor and put the air-con, i already have air-conditioning and the sensor is in the courtesy light, so what else do i have to do? its a 1996 c-220 elegance.
    thanks again steve.
