You know those square amg emblems that say "Special edition" being sold on Ebay... Where are they supposed to be mounted? I seen one car with it today and he had it mounted on the rear trunk. I thought those were for the dash? Someone also told me that those emblems were never issued on amg vehicles?

I think he means the gold and silver "plaques" which state AMG, has the crest, and has Affalterbach on them. They are like badges which look like a limited edition style badge for the interior. Very much like the mercedes windshield "daimler-benz" decal, but printed on metal.
These are home-made, so i guess you can put them anywhere. But they do look weird on a trunk lid
