Sorry, I can't be more specific, but have you looked at the puddle light areas in your doors? Is there a space for them? Are there power wires for them? If so...would be easy, if not, I'm guessing you'll need to open up the door cards and tap into, say the light switch. Also, I'd look for any electrical connectors that I would need to tap them in.
Again sorry, I don't have the encyclopedic by-model knowledge that others here have...but that's where I'd start.
Also, since you've posted in the Parts numbers forum..usually people just request part numbers then get the numbers back. Installation questions are best posted in Electronic Upgrades.

well I have the spots for it, I have yet to pop them off and check wires, but I doubt they will be there, so I am planning on taking off the door panel but I need wiring harness......

Please be informed that depending of the year of the vehicle, the el-connection may be different. Mine is a '98 and the el-connection were to be connected to an el-box located below the door card: you have to know which is the interested pin number.

Beeing your a pre-facelift probably your situation is quite different, if I'm not wrong you have to connect it to somewhere in the dome light.
I belive that there are a detailed photo on the DIY area of mbclub.co.uk forum (you need before to be registred) both for pre and post facelift if I'm not wrong.
