good idea. very tacky with the chrome though. That's why i don't like altezzas on anything. Would be cool if all that chrome was carbon fiber or something. I would like to retain the original look with the LED's though.

You guys looking for the transparnt red lens..... I guess your prayers have been answered (they do look much better)

    smoked (not smoked enough):

find out if they come apart, then mabe that place could do the carbon fiber thing like with tinter's dash that we haven't seen yet.

OMG that's the ugliest thing I have ever seen.

I'm actually in the process of looking into what's involved in making my own full LED taillights with the stock lens covers. I'm planning on a timeframe of about a month or so. If I am successful I'd like to make some and offer them to members here for a reasonable price, I'm thinkin' less than $150, depending on materials cost.

take off that cover and use your oem cover...but 298$ is quite a bit for buying that unit behind the taillight cover (part with the lights and chrome)

I think the red ones look pretty good... to bad i dont have the cash. The chrome and smoked versions look like crap though. Now maybe someone will make projector headlights with a clear lens.

If you used your OEM taillight covers over the LED ones you wont be able to see the LEDs any more, it will just look like a stock taillight. You have to have the clear covers..

I think the chrome ones look like shit.

You can already have LED bulbs with your stock covers for under $100. Go to formymercedes.com and search around there. I seem to remember them offering a replacement LED cluster that fits in your OEM light socket needing only a resistor or something (that they supply) to keep from tripping your dash bulb out indicator.

Let me know if you buy them and how they work.

    go to: http://www.formymercedes.com/mb_resu...lacement+Bulbs

    Keep me posted,
