    Quad Exhaust

    Is it possible to do a Quad exhaust setup on a C36?? I know some benzes have them but they are all v8s. WOuld i have to do it custom then buy amg quad tips or what?? Dual exhaust would be cool too.

    It's pretty difficult. The W202 doesnt have the room for the quad. You would have to do major restructuring. Besides, the weight isnt worth the "performance."

    The exhaust part shouldn't be too hard - it's the hacking/resculpturing the spare tire well, relocating the battery, etc. that's the hard part.


    And for crying out loud, people want pics of your car (I personally can care less, actually) - but don't let the lack of a digital camera get in the way of getting a pic online.

    Use your regular camera/disposable, etc. - get prints of your car, go to your nearby Target and they have a machine that can scan it and make it a digital image and put it on a diskette/CD for you. It's easy peasey!!

    OT but a lot of places these days wil give you the option of getting a floppy and/or a CD with your prints from an analog cam. I know that Long's and Kodak do...
    Just a thought...

    That's what I'm saying - satisfy the pic-hungry masses ASAP to remove any doubt in anyone's minds. Shoot - go out there and just any damn C36 around and take some pictures of it - just get some pics up!!!

    correct me if I wrong, but doesn't C36 have an AMG DUAL exhaust already from the factory?

    Ok sure. Youre wrong. Only comes with 1 exhaust system with 2 tips. Dual exhaust means just that dual.

    The C36 like the 2.8 have dual cats yes that then mate to one pipe to the suitcase muffler then to the rear box. But its just one exhaust system. Counting the tips/muffler cutter/end pipes/whatever ppl these day call them is not the correct way to tell how many exhaust systems are underneath the car.

    The orignal poster of the thread wants to put 4 exhaust (mufflers most likely) underneath his car.

    WEll i was thinking of getting another AMG muffer witht he 2 tips like on the C36. Then rerun the exhaust to go out both sides and attach the mufflers but i guess its not worth it from what you guys say.
