They be talking about illuminated MB original door sills, like the ones that come stock on the G-class. For the 202, however, I believe that they must be stuck on top of your existing doorsills (just like the aftermarket sills). I could be wrong about that last part, but have yet to see anyone with MB original illuminated add-on sills.

Part of the reason for me not seeing any OEM sills might be because they cost something like $600 for a set (at least on the 208) vs the <$200 for aftermarket sills.

So please, someone out there post a pic of OEM add on sills! preferably uninstalled and with part numbers!

Is there a source other than Ebay for the aftermarkets sills? I haven't been able to find any for the life of me...

Hmm, the lettering looks a bit thick for OEM, but kinda tough to say...you sure that they have an MB part number somewhere on them?

I hope you didn't get screwed. It's just that the OEM sills seem so elusive... so I'm using just a bit of skepticism. Can't remember if you posted this before, but were they a stick on top deal, or a full replacement? (Cause regardless of OEM or not...if they were full replacements, then you're in the money)

Not not that we're saying they are not. Its just never thought they made OEM ones. Ive looked at the parts for the 202 and all I see is the standard plastic one.

I even looked in the wireing diagram for the harness. None.

But i think someone here said that the dealer found them though. So hence partnumbers would be helpfull cuz I just got off the phone with the local dealer that said they are all aftermarket as the 202 never came with any.

So of course if youre saying OEM then we need the partnumbers when we all know that dealers arent that helpfull when it comes to this stuff. So that we can go up to the parts counter and order it without getting a talking to about modifications to our vehicles.
