exterior lamp failure on

I changed my headlamp bulbs to Sylvania bulbs and now my exterior lamp failure in on when i turn on the headlights. Whats going on with the system. Should i put back the old Hella bulbs. Pls help. Thanks.

hmm....highbeams work? brakes?

Some bulbs do double duty as a high and low bulb. Maybe the low works but the high is busted or vice versa?

Fuses?

check the 3rd brake light, tail light, tail fog light, etc.

make sure everything is working.

check the 'reverse' ones too. Many forget about this one.
