Pics of my blue CF dash

Finally I was able to post them to MSN groups. Please go to this address and check them out. One of the pics shows the color of
my interior via the headrest so as to compare the blue likeness.
I also put in a few of my car to show my wheels (SSR GT3) and
custom grill. All the stuff is in the car now and I'll add those pics
soon. Go to www.msnusers.com/benzw202 let me know what
you think. Sorry it took so long to get these to you guys. Tinter.

Interior looks pretty good. How is the quality of the overlay? Do you think it will resist fade?

This process is called photogenesis, not really an overlay.
They took all my OEM parts then primed, painted, then the
CF ink is put on through a process in which the parts are
dipped into a solution. After it dries it gets a couple coats of clear
and done. The CF image wraps around corners and into the button holes so it looks factory installed. As far as fading, my
tint will prevent that from happening. Tinter.

so these are printed images a la OEM sport package and no CF fabric used? Is that correct? Also, did it add significantly to the overall thickness of the parts?

You can't notice any difference in thickness. It looks as if
it was the sport package CF but in blue. This can be done in
any color under the sun and you can pick from CF, granite,
marble, camo, woodgrain, brushed aluminum and more. It
cost me around $500 for everything but I was told this was
wholesale. Go to www.driving-image.com and have a look.
If you decide to order ask for Kim and mention Club202. Tinter.

I'm just playing wit ya. Anyway, have you considered moving your DVD unit to the lower spot? That way when it's up you can have it covered. Or you could get one of these to hold movies :Click me

I like the product, seems good quality

but I really doubt the result in a W202

I prefer wood or real CF

I hear ya, I thought long and hard about doing this. I even
got samples to hold up. As far as blue interior not belonging
in a Mercedes you have to take that up with Mercedes cause
that was all factory installed blue leather. I also kept in mind that
if I ever wanted to change back I just need to order a new kit
and it's reversible. So far one negative response and thirty or
so like it so, to each their own. All I know is that walnut didn't
look right in a C43. This was about the same price as ordering
the factory CF so I went a little custom. Thanks for all feedback
that's what this site is all about. Tinter.

I like it! I'm thinking about getting black and silver to match my interior too, but I think its a lil too light of a color. Are those real carbon peices or are they overlays and how much did it cost?

edit*** nm I did some reading and found my answers.

Nice job. I am more partial to true CF because of it's 3d effects. If anyone is interested, I know a designer that works with FG and CFD composite work. He currently does CF trim for Audis. He can do any type of CF. 1x1 straight, 2x2 twill, 4x4 twill, and H8 weave. He also uses different materials (regular CF, aluminized FG-a sliver CF and kevlar/carbon fabric). I will be using him for his services for CF in my S4 (I have the black/greyish birdseye maple in my car and the RS4 CF interior trim costs a fortune). He is fairly cheap (complete CF interior for a B5 S4 is only $500). All you have to do is send him your trim. If anyone is interested in his name and number, shoot me an email.
