WTD: heavy-duty clutch & pressure plate for C36 engine 5-speed conversion

Does anyone have a source for an aftermarket/heavy-duty W124 clutch ?

I'm mating up a 5-speed from a 1986 W124 300E, and would like to use a stronger clutch (perhaps a 4 or 6-puck clutch) and a heavy duty pressure-plate to handle the HP and torque from a AMG M104 C36 engine.

Does anyone know if the clutch and pressure-plate from a 5-speed M104 C280 or C36 will work with a 1986 W124 tranny ? They are the same family of trannys . . .

    TIA,
    :-) neil

I cant help much but you can try clutch masters and see what they can make. I was always thinking about the 6spd from the 2002 c230. Let me know how this goes for you I would love to know.

hopefully the tranny will handle the beating of a h/d clutch. wen i upgrade myne i will prolly use a semi ceramic/kevlar sided clutch to allow slight slip to not break anything, as you may do with a on/off 4-6 puck
