I guessing that you're referring to the Tom who used to work for Caliber motors? If so, Tom is now working at the Mercedes Classic Center in Irvine, CA. (This is the US version of the Mercedes Classic center in Fellbach, Germany)
It might be a number of years before he becomes a good source for w202 partsHowever, if your SSK or w196 is in need of some parts, he'll still be the go-to-guy
