Just purchased '95 C220, new to body styling

    After rolling my old '89 Chevy Celebrity(im only 16), I took a loan out and purchased a '95 C-Class!

I am on a budget, but I was looking for any good places to buy body kits for this kind of car? Also, are there any nice places to purchase interior accessories for a Mercedes?

    Thanks alot!

Congratulations on your " new " car.
Please don't rice it out, or otherwise f$^%%$ it up with some cheap-ass body kit.
Anything decent will set you back $ 2 G's plus.
For accessories you can try this: http://www.performanceproducts.com/D...C230&submodel=
Yes, I have a few mods, but they\'re so discrete, my wife hasn\'t noticed them.

Don't worry! The last thing I want to do is rice out such a naturally beautiful vehicle.

Get some rims and lower the car first.

"I am on a budget" and "Just purchased a Mercedes" doesn't go togethe from the same individual

A Mercedes is not a civic, parts aren't cheap. The cheaper front spoiler you can get is like 200$ and it's not even a bumper, only an add-on (unpainted, uninstalled).. You need to count ~1000$ plus paint/install for a body kit.

As other said, go with wheels and drop first. Replica wheels arenT' too expensive.

Well I already have wheels and a window tint. I was also thinking about getting a DVD/Navigation head unit installed.

I just made a car domain page to:

How much does this drop usually cost? Does it mess up the suspension or anything?

    Thanks

Overall, your car looks like any w202 you see out there. And to make things worse you have those wheels. I think they're ugly.
Dropping your car to about 1.5 - 2.0 inches will make it look nice
with the right mix of aftermarket wheels of course.
Most of the 202'ers in this forum have either used AMG, Lorinser
or Carlsson wheels. In addition there are also replica wheels you
    can buy in Ebay.

IMHO, this car is very nice! (this is ryhi's car)

    peace!

    Thanx,

Well I will look into some new wheels, since you guys seem to have a problem with them, lol. The tread is about almost gone anyway.

Where would I go to get the car dropped? How much does it usually cost?

BTW, has anyone gotten there W202 up to the speedometer max of 160mph? Some of my friends are sceptical about that.

    Boy those wheels.
The former owner must have been a pimp.
If I had wheels like that on my car, it would never leave the garage.

Dude, I have a black one too with stock chrome wheels but I think my car looks better (no offense meant). Get rid of your wheels. They will look good on a Chevy S10 rather than on your 202

well, "ugly" is according to YOUR tastes

if he likes them, they aren't ugly to his eyes.

as we often say here: "whatever floats your boat".

I don't like those rims, but probably if you ask a rapper he will like them.

Well like I said, they were on there when I purchased the car! I will look into some different rims, okay?!

However, I will make sure this forum approves of them first.

whats up bro...the first thing id do to that ride would be a nice drop! with a drop and tint on the front windows i think youd be ridin pretty clean... dont stress bout the rim situation. they rnt that bad, most of the guys in here are more into the "race" styling which by the way there is nothing wrong with, but i really dont see anything wrong with them..i wouldnt go outta my way to buy them but if it came with them dont stress to much on it! good luck!

Well said. I wouldnt stress too much either. I would suggest a drop also. Definitely makes a difference. Just take it one step at a time, and dont take things personally as we all havedifferent tastes.

I like a classic look, hence the AMG Monoblocks.
