I dont see why it wont fit.![]()
This grille has 5 chrome blades like the avantgarde. Will this fit a 98-00 w202 as well?

I got the Bekker grille in 2003. Gloss black with chrome fins, very nice looking. But the moment I noticed the assembly tabs did not match those on the car, I sent it back without even trying.
Later I learned that most people "improvise" the grille into the car and it looks great, and I was tempted to get it again until I saw the 94-96. But it's very strange no one has ever mentioned this 94-96 w202 grille before and I am not that slick.
If the 94-96 w202 have the same grille assembly as the 98-00 models, then it should fit.
I got a 97' W202, got the same exact grill from ebay -

fits perfect and im happy.![]()
Yeah, seen that one before. I bought the Bekkers because I saw pics in the forums... However, the place on the link sells OEM parts, like the stock grill insert for the 98-00 w202.
Frankly, it might be a typo, or it won't work. I am sure some else would have found it by now. It's just too good to be true.

i just ordered one from ebay, there are 2 and it's the one that rollinrealbig did not list. it was 50 +25 shipping out of hong kong or something
i was searching for a w210 OEM grille, so that i could trim it down, but couldn't find one for a decent price....

i got the same one... and it fits perfect
Great! - Does the standard assembly clamps on the w202 hood work with this grille, or did you have to add clamps, screws, duct tape ?Originally posted by MBHustla858

got mine from ebay as well. in most case the mounting hardware u got right now will work. there might be fitment issues, but a little simple modification with a dremel does wonders
well, first all mine was is a Grill INSERT, no hardware - just pop your old insert out, place the new one, use stock screws and no fitment problems for me at all.![]()
Yes, the w202 OEM stock grille insert has 4 large mounting tabs over the top and 2 smaller ones on each side. These tabs fit metal clamps to screw the grille securely to the car. (See photo of c43 grille insert)
Some of the Avantgarde grille replicas also have tabs, but do not align correctly with those on the w202 bonnet/hood.
Regardless, thanks to all for your posts. I will tell you later how it worked out...

The standard w202 grille has the air deflector built into the right side of the grill insert. But the photo is a c43 AMG and has two intakes, so the left side has an additional air deflector clipped to the grille.
RMAN: Got the e-bay grille ROLLINREALBIG suggested. Its 100% non-automotive plastic, no actual chrome strips. It might melt in 90-100 degree weather and I doubt if it can survive the Georgia highway debris, which trashed my chrome strips in the first place.
Given the quality of the e-bay grille, I might just paint the stock gray insert black (Fusion/Krylon) and add new OEM chrome strips ($5 a piece). Or have a bodyshop powder paint the whole insert black, strips and all. Any ideas?
your telling me it will melt in 100 degree weather ? sorry bro, im in CA - car has been outside in DIRECT sunlight for the past YEAR, with temps reaching over 115 lately, did not fade, nor meltOriginally posted by Design29

Im happy with the grill. fitment is A+, quality seems great, had it for one year.
ROLLINREALBIG: That's REAL good to hear. In fact, there are pics on the MB boards with e-bay grills with blistered fins.
