Wheel/tire - Suspension ????
I am a 190e guy still, but in the spring will be looking at a mid-late 90's C280 I think. I see most people when running a 225/45/17 or 225/40/18 are able to lower their car with H&R or Eibach kits and #1 pads generally with no problems.
My question is, would I be able to run a 225/45/18 front & rear and to lower it just go to #1 pads (stock springs)...anyone done this or have pics? I guess I need to know are 225/45/18's just to big??? How much gap would i have between tire & fender?
I am hoping to get a lowered look without springs, I like a little more meat on the rim (for safety), and I ride with some pretty big guys, my last lowered 190e (eibach w/ 205/50/16 would rub too much)
Anyone deal with thewheelexchange.com before ??? Prices look pretty good.
