I changed my gaskets today & noticed on the driverside cover there were two hollow tubes that protrude into the head. Does anyone know WTF these things are for? Obviously for sometype of ventalation, but how & why this way?. I noticed mine were plugged up. I easily unplugged them by sticking on a hose & lowing through it.
Any idea why MB designed them the way they did?
