Arrow Had a go at fitting my C43 bumper

Had a day off with nowt to do, so I thought id have a go at fitting the rear C43 bumper which ive had for nearly a year, ive never checked that it fitted ok before, when I get some spare cash they are getting sprayed + fitted.

The corners dip slightly, maybe thats down to how its been stored?

mmm, not sure id get away with the standard exaust pipes?

Couldnt try the front as its only a skin...

While I was in the boot, I discovered why my bootlid wont completely open with the remote

It appears this part of metal has snapped off on each side

I think its caused by how im storing it, Im sure it will flex out in time, or I will get the bodyshop to heatgun it before its sprayed.

Now all I need are some C43 sideskirts!

I dunno what to say about the c43 bumper.. but the stock sport bumper is starting to become an eye sore. it looks much like a Toyota Corrola "S" rear bumper.

With that spring, try putting it through another of the holes where that piece broke off from, the spring will be stretched but it should still work.

Oh okay, maybe try a different hole? I think there are a few around there? You should be able to get it to swing open with the hole change, seen this done before so should work.

if that bumper is fiberglass, its gonna pretty much stay like that, you can heat it up, and move it slightly, over wise, you have the use more glass and filler to fill the viods, but you might be able to heat it and flex it, its not gonna go back down over time, the same is pretty much true if its urethane, im guessing your bumper is glassed...
