Just out of curiosity, what are different MB dealers charging for the A and B services in different areas of the country? I did a quick survey of the four local dealers and got the following qoute ranges:
A Service Range = $210 - 260 plus tax and "additional parts"
B Service Range = $380 - 550 plus tax and "additional parts"
An independent quoted $125 for the A service and $325 for the B service.

My "B service" was going to run me $1750 when I took the car in when I first got it. I told them to eat me...LOL
It isn't under warranty & i'll do most of the service myself & the rest as needed.

Theres a demon in my car i tell yah....its name is KOMPRESSOR lmfao
Mechanics with proper equipment.
Also, if I suspect something I will actually take it to the dealer. The shop owner knows I do most work myself & they do not treat me like a "only comes in with a disaster" customer.
As for the oil change timer. All it does is go down to 000 then once past that goes to say -100, ect.. I do not get any lights or warnings when things need to be done.

Does everyone here still go to the dealer for the service A or B? I just follow the book and take it to my indy and do whats required.
I had those spark plugs done on it last weekend at the required book mileage. The shocks need to be done next and shes alll good.
