    window pillars

just wondering if window pillars can be removed and painted, or perhaps bought new. i noticed two screws on them. mine are frayed on the edges and need to be sparked up.

yes you can remove them, you could paint them black elegance spec, find some faux mercedes carbon ones or some real carbon fiber replacements.

you wouldnt happen to know what type of paint i would be looking for. i mean since it is outside the car and all i would need a strong coat to deal with the elements. engine enamel? did i just sound stupid for saying that?

I replaced both mine on the driver side, they were about $70.00 from the stealership for both I think. The real CF ones looked like they stuck out too far. I just got a compliment on them today in fact.
