    Wiper disassembly

I was cleaning my windshield the other day and slightly lifted up the wiper blade to clean underneath. The next day it was raining, and therefore turned on the wiper. The wiper works fine, but it now makes quite a noise. I relubed the pistons as suggested in other messages and don't think it's the motor per se. The sound seems to be coming from directly under the area where the pistons are, but I can't figure out how to get it off to take a look (or know of what's underneath). I don't want to wear out the motor or gearing. Anyone know how to disassemble and remove the blade and piston area? What's underneath?

This site I posted the other day gives some pics of the backside of the assembly.

Thanks for the schematics. I'm sure that the problem is that the wiper transmission needs to be cleaned out and regreased. Hopefully, the plastic gear inside is not cracked as the part is insanely expensive.
