At last!!! Found something that we can fit on our stock exhausts to stop them from looking so ugly!!!

If you don\'t do it properly, don\'t waste our time!!

    This is it

And, in case you're wondering, the Rand/dollar exchange rate is R7.30/$

I'm sure it will fit the kompressor if it's pre '97

Now that i look at it, the exhaust gasses actually escape thru the bottom...not so cool. gonna find out if one can mod it so that the exhaust gasses actually escape from the pipes

I think I have seen similar listed on ebay for $120-ish but I wondered if that extra bend in the exahaust path would actually restrict exhaust flow a bit more. If that is the situation, it would seem to be another case of "show" over "go."

Maybe those vents along the bottom are an attempt to minimize the flow restriction?

This is similar to what I have seen elsewhere for the W202 (this one is for a w203):

Here are some tips but I don't think they are going to give you the look you are seeking:

Yea thats extremely ugly IMO, exhaust tips look SO fake.

If I did not have my remus, I would never put a tip on my stock exhaust.

Ya, i must say i also think it looks a bit rice, but i really can't stand the look of the stock exhaust...it looks so miserable!

I would rather fit a new muffler, but i don't want the car do get that irritating drone which often comes hand in hand with fitting a custom exhaust system...unless you want to pay Remus prices...

keep your resonator, get a magnaflow universal... and you shouldn't have too much drone.

...but yeah, those pipes posted look like shit.

but apparently this has been done by a couple of people on the forum, anaf is one of them (i think) and another gyy found the drone so annoying that he sold his system.

I think remus seems to be the only solution

    that really sucks.

i have magnaflow's on my 190e, and they sound great.

    however, it's the 2.3 4-banger.

i'm not too surprised, though. the bmw inline 6's sound like shit with the magnaflow, too. the v8 and i4's sound good, though.

in fact, the v8 sounds like sex and honey and peaches & cream.

yeah, it was me i have grown to like the drone, kinda. it makes my car sound beastly. when i had my stock exhaust, i polished the turndowns, inside and out. it actually looked really nice, its really easy too.
