Anyone ever see a flat black 202?

I was watching Rob and Big the other day after Big Black "murdered out" his Ford Pinto and started wondering if our 202's can pull it off. Can someone whip up a nice photoshop?

Heres some pics of nice flat black rides:

*edit* more pics of sexy flat black whips:

    i prefer the term "satin"

After seeing those pics, and a few others in the truck world, i think any car can pull it off really. It looks really fuckin' awesome.

The question is: are you willing to sacrifice the wet look for the rayon look? It turns heads like MAD but it just ain't the crazy deep wet look.

I can see my 65 continental in satin.

i wonder if these pics are chopped.
This m5 is burning out, white smoke and all. In sand. WTF?

EDIT - - the smoke is fake, the wheel is not turning, and the side-mirror is not satin! Eye Spy!

Most of those cars have pretty aggressive body styles. I dont know if a classy 202 can pull it off. Just wondering though, how much would a good satin black paint job cost? Would it be cheaper than a traditional paint job?

I have talked to a shop about it didnt ask for the price but pretty much its a paint color satin black or some places matte black, with just enough but not too much clear coat to protect it and give it a smooth feel, he said you can acually wax n polish it.

well i checked the other pics of that m5, and all i can say is i really only like the first pic that we saw with the fake smoke, first of all why would you drive a beautiful m5 in the dirt in the dessert, damn sure didnt look like some baja car, and secondly why would you put 2 gigantic fart cans on it and ruin the great look of the quad exaust that it comes with...i can understand getting slightly wider pipes but not 2 gigantic cans...ruined.

IMO, looks like those ricer kids who cant afford a paint job so they roll around with a primered car.

i disagree, if you have ever seen a perfect flat black colored car, you wont find a single blemish and depending on the car it would look sooo sweet, maybe not on an SL...but on say a tahoe, escalade, that m5, silvia, it looks like hot shit...a typical ricer primered car has that shitty spray primer out of a car from wal-mart and its dripping down most of the time..now that does look like shit..but im curious to see how a 202 would be esp. with the right wheels..

I was thinking about doing this similar process to my 202.. from the A B and C Pillars and roof.. I checked a shop in La called Mobworks where my car was painted and he charged me 800. but it wasnt going to be painted matte black . They were just going to sand the clear coat off and re shoot the areas with a new coat of clear but, there was an additive in the clear to dull it out so it wouldn't be as shiny. So it would look like 2 tone. shiny charcoal grey on the bottom and dull on top. You can do this to any color and also carbon fiber.. I seen it in person and it looks tight if done right to the paint and carbon.

that silvia, m5 and SLR look sick as hell. lovin that look.
Ive been considering the matte/flat black paint job for some time.. but just dont know as to what it will look like on the actual car. I had thought about the 2 tone idea that jasonvaldez has brought up. but Iw as just thinking doing the top of the roof, trunk lid and hood only. but maybe depending on the body kit and wheels a full flat/matte black w202 can look good.
