Yea man i have the same problem. The panel skin is hanging down and when i tried to glue it, it made it worse. If your plan with yor friend works out, can yo please tell me how to wrap it. Cause that is a great idea.

the sunroof panel, with the vents. isn't that like 18"x30" roughly?

I doubt that would necessitate removing the winsheild or folding the panel to get it out. The entire roof liner can be removed without popping the winsheild out or folding it.

    Seriously, removing the winshield?

It wasn't the sunroof panel but the headliner which is installed prior to the windshield being installed, but it can be manuevered out through the passenger door

I would also like to know if anyone has taken the sunroof panel out of the sunroof without removing the sunroof.

funny you bring this up - my car's in the shop right now getting a new one installed. I tried to have it reglued with no luck at all. And rather than trying to come up with some ghetto/miscolored solution, I'm taking the hit.
