I think a lot of topics have been written about M104 turbo, but nobody ever did it. The impression I got from reading the topics is that it's too much hassle and probably not worth it. I personally think you should do exactly what you said about saving your money and buying a more powerful car. Plus I'm not sure how well the M104 will stand up to a turbo, given the very common head gasket problems that engine has. I had to change my head gasket, and now I might even have to change my wiring harness, and that's definitely a known problem with 91-95 M104 engines.Originally posted by mike mac
there is a Bi-turbo kit out there by mosselman and i was thinking is there any other way to boost my motor?
has anybody made there own kit or even just have one turbo on a c280
our cars are dif that then others like c180, c200, c220, c230 cause they are all 4 cyl cars with one exhaust manifold...us guys with the C280 or C36 have a M104 motor which is an inline 6 and we have 2 exhaust manifolds. would there be a way to connect the manifolds ( headers)or connect the pipping behind it with one turbo?
i dont have much money and i know i cant afford a mosselman kit( think they were like 3-5k )
how much is the mosselman kit anyway?
maybe i should just save up my pennies and actually get the mosselman kit or a new car ( c43 or something newer)
any suggestions or insight?
