    Remove the Front Bumper- HARD?

I want to remove my front bumber, the plastic stuff. I am hoping to get to the brackets that hold the front fenders in-place and then move the fender out some.

I need to set it up so the 245/40/17" tires clear that damn fender.

    Jeff,

You mean the bumper cover right..?

There are visible nut when you opened the hood.

look like this one (bottom left)

I think they are 4 of them if I am not mistaken.

then there are screw that hold the edged of the bumper and the front fender.

You'd need to take off the plastic inner wheel well for this. (at least on my C36).

I think that should be it.

Steve should be able to give the exact location of those screws and nuts.
But what I am trying to say it's not that hard

    Regardz,

Is that black box next to the ballast the "aux fan control module"?

    The only location...

I just did some reworks today as well...to make my fenders clear the way-too-wide 225/45-17 winter tires I have...

Taking off the front bumper is just per 4 13mm nuts...1 temp sensor (phillips screw or clamped) and 2 tabs at the sides in front of the wheel (don't need to take the mudguard off)...less then 10 minutes...
