    Gas tank locked ?

Hey guys, I wanted to fill up some gas this evening... but I couldn't, discovered the gas door was locked and couldn't open it... I tried Locking and unlocking the car lots of times but the gas tank was still locked.... so I went back home to check the fuse... but none of the fuses were burned.. I unplugged the cars battery which i thought it would reset the locking system but none of it worked...

Anyone could help me with this ?

The pin that comes out of the hole to lock the gas door is probably
stucked. This means the vacuum line to that mechanism is faulty.
Open your trunk and dig in the right wheel well to look for the vacuum line.
    Good luck.

there is a emergency release. if you pull back the r/r carpet panel in the trunk and look with a flashlight, you will see the fuel door lock actuator and a red circle knob at the end. pull the knob back and it manually pulls the release pin!

compared to 2 months ago, this price
    is reasonable.

You should see gas prices in Europe, then
    make your assessment.

    Heinz,
Don't be lazy, consult your Owners Manual. The release knob is behind the felt panel in the trunk.
