Idle control valve on C280 '98

Anyone can tell where it is and how can be cleaned? My car revs between 500 to 1000 and once in a while wakes up by itself and goes to 2000 where it stays until I stop the engine and then goes back to rev-ing. Sometimes if I step on the gas on the stop light it gets blocked at high RPM's... Changed MAF, Spark plugs and wires but problem si still there. Any idea on how to solve this is highly appreciated!!

Not sure you have one. One of these links talk about those only being used on CIS systems; not EFI. Vacuum leak maybe

I actually looked into it today a little more and I believe the joint between the air intake and the air damper is poor and I might get air through there. Not sure what the damper does but I'll try to reseal it ...hopefully that thing doesn't need cleaning. Do you have any idea about it??
