It was VERY simple to get it off, yes. The rest was a piece of cake, took me a little over an hour to lay the vinyl
looking good nice job

Thanks! I'm not sure if its stock, but my door trim is black (i can post a photo later if u want?)
So I'm not rushing to get it covered. I'm sure it's as simple to remove it as the dash trim?
Thank you! By the way, no. My one only had wood in the centre
Thanks Yujin! I saw you were going to put some carbon on yours?
Btw, I only did the centre, don't have any other wood inside
good work if you're diggin' the carbon. i feel that wood is nice in our cars. so i added more
that looks identical to mine! :P
wow that looks sweet! i just did that to mine as well.. i haven't done the top dash where the ac unit is at tho.. im waiting for the radio keys to come so i can take out the radio like the youtube video said^^^.. heres wat i have so far tho
Nice work! ^^ Did you use a heat gun? I see u did a better job laying that carbon around the buttons
Why so serious?
thanks! and yes i did use a heat gun.. makes a difference. im wraping my whole car matte black, and the heat gun is needed for that project very much ill be posting up pics as i finish.. (vinyl is very expensive)
what wrap are you guys using? Just 3M vinyl?
Completely mad.
'99 C230K, intake and exhaust more on the way.
'86 MKIV Escort RS Turbo, stock for now, chip and more boost on the way
'75 Fiat 124 Spider, koni shocks, bigger carb and drilled/slotted brakes
to tune and hoon the mbz master race.
for the inside.. im using 3m di-noc carbon fiber FABRIC vinyl.. theres a difference.. theres a carbon fiber vinyl that is actually weaved, which is fabric.. and then there is a printed one.. both great quality.. just the FABRIC version is more realistic.. and for the wraping of my car im using.. 3m di-noc matte black vinyl. i personally bought from a company called tip top signs.. they have everything for wraping and almost every color.. including matte colors.. they also have an ebay store.. check them out.. oh and if ur getting carbon fiber vinyl.. make sure u check and get the one that is meant for out door use or in door use
so jealous of that manual transmission..
just finished top dash and side door trim.. check it!
