cabin filter
Hi im si i bought my 99 c230 k last week it has the digital climate and it was hardly blowing air so i chipped him on the price saying that will cost alot when i new it was the pollen filter and oh my god when i changed it it was blocked full of dust leaves feathers and fag ends i just dont understand why people dont change them on a service there part of it and its ot hard on a 202 a 203 is even easier

Most owners don't even know the car has a cabin filter.

on a right hand drive its on the passenger side not sure about left hand maybe the germans were nice unlike the french and moved it. Mine was full of allsorts that would be in your lungs. Back street garages dont bother cos they dont know they really need to buy autodata and service cars properly. I work at a merc specialised and it makes you wonder what other additions they missed i.e brake fluid. the cars on 141,000 and main dealer history stopped at 98,000 but i m.o.t'd the car and it only failed on anti roll bar bushes so its ok thank god

My bad. I wasn't paying attention at your profile.
The DIY link I posted is good for North American C-class. But I'm guessing, on UK based C-class, it would be on the left hand side.

haha its ok yeah my steering wheel is on the proper side lol. Do you have many manuals over there.
