maybe you just have some worn parts? Or maybe your whole power steerin system is broken. Is it really hard to turn the wheel?
Love my '97 E320.... I had the opportunity to drive
another one & noticed not only how soft its steering was, but on getting back to driving mine, turning corners at low speeds all of a sudden felt like a work out!!!.... Is there anything that can be done to "soften" the steering????. All the fluids are at the correct level!!.

Thanks for the reply..... The steering stiff, but not stiff like theres no power. .... Stiff enough where you can't use a finger to turn... You need a good grasp at low speeds.
If parts are worn, which one should I look at replacing???
Thanks, *CB*
As another thing to check, have a look at your tire pressure. Low tire pressure sometimes feels like heavy steering, compared to a car with higher pressure.
As for worn parts...power steering pump/motor?
