    help! headlight question

So yesterday I was re-aiming my headlights, and on my drivers side, the up/down adjustment knob was not moving my headlight at all no matter which way I turn it and my headlight is stuck aimed completely down on the ground. (the left/right function works fine) Also when I turn the up/down adjustment knob to the right (down) I get a very strong resistance and eventually i hear a clicking noise as if a screw cannot be screwed in any farther. So I took out my headlight and took it completely apart, and now I can see that the up/down adjustment is simply controlled by a screw that when turned, applies force to a plastic bit connected to the headlight and thus moves and angles it up or down. Turns out the screw that controls this seems to be stuck in the plastic bit, and when turned, will not push the plastic bit forward nor backwards, so i'm pretty much stuck here.

SO, my question is that after my experimentation with taking apart the headlight, i still cannot figure out how to fix the up/down adjustment module. Any suggestions on how to do so? I can post up hq pics in case you need them. Thanks guys

I did try lubing it up with some specialty grease but to no avail.. looks like i'll have to drop the money for a new headlight assembly
