I wouldn't be convinced it's the MAF.
I do know the w202 MAF is severely sensitive even when cleaning. Will need to wait and see what some other kompressor owners have to say, though. All my experience is with the NA engines.
Recently, I've been noticing that around 3500rpms the supercharger seems to shut off, and I could not figure out why. So I did some research and found that it could be related to a oiled up MAF sensor. So today I bought CRC MAF cleaner and throttle body/intake cleaner and cleaned everything up (wasn't too much oil on the MAF sensor but there was a decent amount of oil buildup in the tube below the MAF sensor), so I after spraying them down I let everything dry up for about an hour, but now the car bogs down at 3000rpms runs worse than before. How is this possible considering it was cleaned pretty well, especially since it was cleaned with the correct fluid/spray, and additionally I'm looking through my service records and saw that this was supposedly "replaced" when the car had 105k and now the car has 138k. I'm pretty sure it should last more than 33k. Has anyone had this experience with the MAF, should I just replace it?

Spray it with some PB blaster lightly to clean it off. Clear the code and you should be good to go most of the time. Sometimes the maf is actually shot and you need a new one. They are pretty easy to find online new.
Completely mad.

Spare no expense. If its busted, it's busted. But they are expensive. I would be sure to make sure everything in the intake system is clean. You dont run intakes do you? What about a K&N filter?

Is it possible that my not starting issue that happens occasionally was a sign of my MAF going bad, because I changed my CPS and recently I had the not starting issue (after the car sat for about 20 minutes), and also is the car suppose to start up without the MAF wire plugged in? Just tried unplugging it and it wouldn't start. What do you guys think. Sorry for so many questions.

I'd be surprised if the MAF prevented the car from starting.
What is the resolution when the car won't start?

So, I've checked the wiring harness from the throttle body to the MAF and it is clean? Still I have the same sluggish, poor performance. I'm starting to think it is not the MAF anymore?

Sorry, I don't have any suggestions. Hopefully someone has faced this before.
But to recap, throttle response (performance) is fine up to around 3000 rpm and then it bogs down. Correct?
Is the car up-shifting too early causing the poor performance?

So, I got my MAF and installed it, and sure enough it was that that was triggered the P0170 code, happy to have the car back to normal. I guess I will just replace my air filter now. Thanks guys!
