Help - how to remove wiper blade from C230K (1999)

For the life of me, I just cannot figure out how to remove the blade. I think someone else changed it the last time, and a long time ago I just put in a new rubber insert.

Looked all over the youtube videos - none are the same. I suspect it is something easy and elegant, and I am trying to pry it off.

    Thanks.

It's a standard hook wiper blade. The one with the curved u shaped arm that holds the blade in. Pull blade towards center of car.....hard. http://www.gemelectricmotorcars.com/...roduct/1336115

Maybe the last replacement is not the same. Tried to pull - hard. No go.
It looks like there are tiny metal nubs keeping the wiper on the U of the arm.

I just replaced the wiper blades on 3 other cars with the U arm, and I just pulled and on them the blade just came off. Not so for the Mercedes.

your blade might have a tab/clip that needs to be depressed and then pulled down....any close-up pics....

If it's like my '97 C230 you remove the blade by pushing in, towards the wiper motor, not out towards the outside mirror. Grab the wiper
stalk with left hand (hold hard), wiper blade with right hand near where it connects with the stalk. Then push the blade in towards the motor (have to push fairly hard). The
blade should pop out of the u-shaped tip on the stalk.

if all else fails go to atozone or o'riellys buy a wiper and ask the guy if he can show you how to replace, most guys there are very helpful....

    Thanks to all.
What it took was exactly as described. Hold the arm, hold the wiper - push really really hard toward the motor.
Usually that is easier since I can usually pull up the arm and tilt the wiper perpendicular to the arm, but with the C230, it won't pull up enough, and so when pushing, the wiper is actually bending against the glass.
